Sid Simone, Inc is a nationwide staffing agency.  The Company supplies entry to executive level staff in Event, Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, and Sales positions. The company President was recognized as Staffing Industry Analysts’ “Millenials in Staffing.” Serving medium to Fortune 500 companies, the company supplies Alcohol and Food Demonstrator, Bartenders, Event Hosts, Tradeshow Model, Finance Managers, HR Directors, and Sales Representatives.


What is an Intern Gladiator?

The college intern will learn fundamental skills in a myriad of fields including Human Resources, Marketing, Recruiting and Sales.

The incumbent will work closely with the company President, who is also an Adjunct Professor, to learn and conduct operational functions, conduct B2B sales calls utilizing a CRM (customer relationship management) software, post and edit the company’s website and social media, generate content on the LMS (learning management system), search for marketing opportunities for the company, and review resumes and interview candidates. Must be comfortable working from a home office, meeting on-site, and attending festivals and expos.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Must reside in Las Vegas and surrounding territories 
  • Must be current college student, pursuing Associates, Bachelor, or Master
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher. Prefer Junior and above (ages 18+); will consider other levels.
  • Profound interest and/or experience in Entrepreneurship, Business, Human Resources and Sales
  • Superior email writing skills, internet research skills, phone etiquette
  • Capability to work independently and under close supervision and instruction from management, and a general understanding of negotiation, effective sales tactics and business management and attention to detail.
  • Will be required to submit to a background check.
  • Access to laptop, and cellphone

Schedule & Semesters

Winter: Jan 14-March 1, 2019 OR Spring: March 4-May 3, 2019

  • 2 days per week (on-site and remotely)
  • 4 hours per day between 9am-3pm
  • Option to select Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday

Benchmarks for This Internship

  1. Independently operate CRM and ATS
  2. generate $1000 in sales commission
  3. Add 50 accounts to CRM
  4. Recruit 100 incumbents to ATS
  5. Complete 10 interview sessions with incumbents
  6. Understand labor laws in select states
  7. Create a client course in LMS
  8. Understand and implement alcohol laws in select states
  9. Identify and implement team and individual motivational tools
  10. Identify disgruntled talent; improve talent pool
  11. Write 2 press releases
